International Buddhist Academy - A three month program located in Kathmandu, Nepal. Offers courses in Buddhist philosophy, practice, and Tibetan language. Founded by Khenpo Appey Rinpoche, this program is rooted in the Sakya lineage.

Marpa Institute - A two month study/practice intensive in Kathmandu, Nepal, offering courses in Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and Tibetan language. Taught by senior Tibetan scholars of the Karma Kagyu lineage. Founded by Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche.

Nitartha Institute - A one month study program based on traditional Tibetan monastic training. Offers courses in Buddhist philosophy, meditation, debate, and Tibetan language, with courses taught by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche and senior khenpos (Tibetan scholars) of the Karma Kagyu Tradition.

Rangjung Yeshe Institute - A year long training program based in Kathmandu, Nepal. Offers courses in Buddhist philosophy, meditation, debate, Buddhist history, classical and colloquial Tibetan, Sanskrit, and Nepali. Courses taught by senior khenpos of various lineages (Nyingma, Kagyu, Sakya) and short courses by resident and visiting lineage holders. Rigpa Shedra - A one month course (September through October) on various aspects of Buddhist philosophy. Taught be senior khenpos (Tibetan scholars) and lamas of the Nyingma and Kagyu traditions. Founded by Sogyal Rinpoche.

Rimé Institute - A three year program located in Madison, Wisconsin. Teaches various aspects of Buddhist philosophy and practice. Founded by Khachab Rinpoche.

Root Institute - Located in Bodhgaya, India. Offers year round courses in Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and meditation. Founded by Lama Yeshe.

Tergar Institute - Founded by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche; offers courses in Buddhist philosophy and meditation by HH the 17th Karmapa (during the Kagyu Monlam), Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, and other senior Kagyu lamas and khenpos. Held yearly December through February at Tergar Monastery in Bodhgaya, India.

Manjushree Institute - Offers nine month courses in spoken and literary Tibetan. Located in Darjeeling, India.

Marpa Institute - Offers beginning and advanced courses in spoken and literary Tibetan. Held yearly January through March.

Nitartha Institute - Offers a one month intensive in spoken and literary Tibetan yearly in Canada.

Rangjung Yeshe Institute - Offers year round courses in classical and spoken Tibetan, Nepali, and Sanskrit, including a summer intensive on spoken Tibetan.

Dharmachakra Translation Committee - Founded and directed by the venerable Chödkyi Nyima Rinpoche, the Dharmachakra Translation Committee is housed at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery in Boudhanath, Nepal. The Committee consists of a broad group of translators, editors, and graphic artists committed to the task of translating the Buddhist classics into English and other languages.

Ka-Ter Translation Project - A project designed to train translators and to translate the Dzogchen Tantras and works of Changchub Dorje, founded by Chogyal Namkhai Norbu.

Light of Berotsana - Created to translated key sutric and tantric literature from both the Indian and Tibetan traditions, currently focusing on root and commentarial literature concerning the Guhyagharba Tantra.
